Animal Territory - Videos
These videos were taken at the Emperor Valley Zoo, which I visited with my mama on Tuesday. The zoo only had a few patrons so it was nice.
This guy loves attention and his roar can be heard throughout the zoo. He was standing still when he saw us, but decided to give me a little masculine strut.
This beautiful kitty is absolutely spoilt, ran towards us immediately, began rubbing on the fence and walked away about 15 seconds after the video.
I just could not resist their red behinds.
I love birds and this guy was just too much for me to handle. He was totally laid back until he saw me coming. I spent about 10 minutes in that section, and he just did his show throughout our time there.Loved it!
This creature was already in motion when I got there.
Mom wanted a break so we stopped by the goat and rabbit pen. “Twinkle Toes” was minding her own business when I asked her how she was doing. (I’m assuming it’s a girl by the name.) She looked at me, opened her ears, then glanced at my mother eating and jumped up. I guess she’s used to doing that.
The rest of videos are just calming moments. I love fish.
This slippery dude was napping when I first past by, made a rounds, came back and it was still in the same position, (like them all), but you know me. A little quiet coercion.
These guys are just serene. They did a graceful dance for my video.

2012 Release
Like seeds falling from trees and bee pollinated flowers, the old must make way for the new.
Thus, the cracks in the ground and infertile soil shall recover; wrongs will be made right; good will prevail and evil will be trodden.
2012 is here.

Be My Valentine
Among the hassle and bustle of the day, I had a wonderful moment during the afternoon period, which was a very excited 6 year old who could not wait to hug and wish me Happy Valentine’s.
Of course she had to let me know what she got on lovers day and what she gave. She got a heart shaped pillow from her daddy and she gave her mom a heart pencil. I told her that’s really sweet and I could tell she loved being a part of the day, but what stood out for me was what she said on leaving the office. “My mommy told me I’m her valentine’s gift.” All I could say was “oh oh,” that short sentence really touched me.
I spoke to her mom about this conversation and she told me that her daughter was so happy about receiving a valentine’s gift (the pillow), that she actually made a note of it in a book saying “thank you daddy for the valentines pillow.”
Sure it’s a commercial day and love is all year round but this little girl made valentines for me. Majority of the people here are from broken homes, she’s no different, but it all boils down to this, there is nothing like family and the willingness to share and give love on a special day. Who said Valentine’s Day is only for lovers?
